A microfluidic droplet system for ultra-monodisperse droplet generation: A universal approach

Despite the importance of droplet monodispersity, a universal methodology for high monodispersity generation does not exist yet. We have recently demonstrated that unlike conventional method generation, applying an identical pressure from single source makes microfluidic system immune to external fluctuations originate imperfection flow source. In this work, we show our is and applicable other common devices sources. applied flow-focusing coflow are commonly used high-frequency microdroplet generation. addition pump, syringe pump rate controllable systems as well. compared droplets formed by methods novel explained in work.
